First and Limited Edition 1885 photogravures by Danie; Ridgway Knight IAm. Depicting an outdoor scene of talkative women. Though apparently unsigned, his name and title of the work are imprinted on this First printing and limited edition. Though born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, he studied in Paris in private studio of Meissonier and was a student. At the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Paris. Numerous exhibitions and awards including the silver medal and Cross of the Legion of Honor, Exposition Universelle, Paris, 1889, made a Knight of the Royal order of St. Michael of Bavaria, gold medal of Honor from Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, Philadelphia, Penn.
