Hamilton made a Limited-Edition Bolton two years prior and brought this one to the market with restricted distribution through Amex. The company assembled and marketed this watch in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. SSIH (Société Suisse pour l'Industrie Horlogère) bought Hamilton in 1973 and continued using the Lancaster facilities until 1992. This watch uses an ETA 581.001 seven jewel quartz movement, a rose gold color dial with raised Arabic numerals, a snap back case made with vermeil and plated 20 with microns of yellow gold.
The band is original and in excellent condition. This is a collector's edition.
Thank you for your patronage. As watchmakers, we use care in the assembly and restoration of our products.Much of what you'll see in our listings comes as the result of purchasing components to build watches. We attempt to use everything and pass on what we don't. We look for old stock and let the extras go at reasonable prices.
We don't engage in watch repair. We make and assemble watches from parts acquired globally. Hopefully, you recognize us as watchmakers not repairers. We also hope you find something of interest that suits you among our sale items. Sam English and Tom Adelstein engage in many aspects of the timekeeping world. We have much to share as industry insiders. We look forward to your stay!
