Authentic Halo 3 Limited Edition Steelbook that is the Do Not Sell Before 09/25/07 first print edition. These first prints were sent to retail stores for the release day sales.

There are a few things to know about these first prints. The "Do Not Sell Before" orange sticker is located ON TOP/OUTSIDE of the cellophane seal on every single one I've seen as that sticker was for regular versions of the game and simply wouldn't fold the same on the longer spined limited edition steelbooks so the method of sealing these changed. They sealed the game and placed the sticker on top, and sometimes uncentered like mine.

It's perfectly normal and wanted to be honest with you and teach you a few things. There is a majority of these limited edition steelbooks that were produced from factory with loose items inside.

These loose items are a. When production of these games were undergoing the machine(s) was not setup right so the discs were not placed correctly OR the circular teeth part that gets glued to the steelbook wasn't glued on correctly and that resulted in the loose disc, or the disc bouncing around inside, for a vast majority of steelbooks. This was an issue upon release as people weren't happy, but is now a happy accident with collectors cause what can you do if this is how it was produced and is now 14 years old! This is a sealed first print.

The metal steelbook doesn't show any wear, but the cellophane has a little bit. It has a slight triangular and circular rip on the back (second to last picture for reference) and has a few pinhole sized marks/rips on the very bottom from normal shelf wear (last picture for reference). Also, as stated above, the Do Not Sell Before orange sticker can be removed. This is an authentic sticker on the first print steelbook tho, I can assure you of that as I bought this new.
